SAVANNAH – Ricky D. Sellers, 56, died Thursday, August 25, 2011 at his home.
The native and lifelong resident of Savannah attended Johnson High School and graduated from Richard Arnold High School.
He was a member of Local 474 Operator Engineers, and had worked for The Sugar Refinery, Steel Erectors, and Scott Bridges.
Ricky is survived by his daughter, Nikki Sellers; his father, Harold Sellers; two sisters, Donna Galletta Stephen and Dorinda Lawrence Tony; a brother, Russell Sellers; all of Savannah; a sister-in-law, Gail Sellers of Athens, GA; and a nieces and 4 nephews, Stacy and Brett Galletta, Jeremy Sellers, and Tristan and Taylor Lawrence. He was preceded in death by his mother, Francine O. Sellers.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 29, 2011 in the Islands Chapel at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors'
The family suggests in lieu of flowers donations be made to Hospice Savannah, Inc., P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
